I nearly forgot to get my project 52 picture up this week. Trying to get both kids in the shot is proving to be more difficult than I originally thought, but at the end of this project I’ll have 52 images of them together. That alone is worth trying to get them to play nice with each other.
This was taken at 7pm in a bathroom with one weak fluorescent bulb and zero natural light. I had to crank the ISO up to 5000, hence the noise. I couldn’t turn down my shutter speed because they were moving around so much. Not my favorite shot, not my favorite edit (took all of 15 seconds), but I wanted to capture everyday imperfect stuff also. Grateful that these two are so close in age. I hope that they’ll always be kind to each other, even as teens. A mom can dream.
