Day 21 and we’re focusing on electronics and wires. I’ve been waiting for this one all month, but the bulk of it will have to be handled by my husband. He’s the hoarder of wires. Speaker wires, wires without plugs, mystery wire, etc. Go through everything and focus on what you need and get rid of what you MAY (Possibly? Not really?) need. We don’t have speakers….. So why do we have speaker wire?
Also deal with old electronics that have died, you no longer use, or are broken. I found a walkman (not mine) in the attic. I kid you not. Now I wonder if my parents kept the mixtapes I made back when I had braces and didn’t know how to deal with my crazy Irish hair.
I also want you to organize your chargers and all that jazz. Chargers instantly make a fairly tidy corner look like a mess. We use flexible velcro straps (these exact ones <-affiliate link) to shorten all the wires that are too long.
Also consider a charging zone to keep all your wires contained in one space. I’m sure you can find a ton of clever charging zones through Pinterest.
Electronics need to be properly disposed of. Check your local waste management company about rules and drop off locations.
Have any other tips to keep your electronics and wires tidy?
