Who has a ton of recipes they’d like to try? Who actually remembers to make those recipes? I made this “recipes to try” printable for myself after Christmas when I received a couple new cookbooks. It has been amazing when it comes to meal planning (psst… link to the meal planning printable).
As much as I love Pinterest, it’s actually not very useful for me when I’m meal planning because I often forget what I pinned. I also happen to LOVE cookbooks and cooking magazines. I’m all about flipping through every single page and reading through the ingredients when I get my hands on a new one. America’s Test Kitchen New Family Cookbook (affiliate link) took me two days to get through. That thing is a beast!
What I like to do is have my “recipes to try” printable out when I’m flipping through a cookbook or magazine. I’ve also had it out when I’m sitting at my desk and logged into Pinterest. I’ll go through my recipe board and make a note on my sheet and print out the recipe if it’s printer friendly.
If the recipe was a winner, I’ll place a star next to it. If it wasn’t, I just put a line through it. Hopefully I’ll have enough keepers to keep on a separate sheet. Enjoy!
