I made these cookies a few weeks ago when I spotted the Pumpkin Spice Kisses at the grocery store, then the munchkin got sick and posts got sidetracked. Then the blogosphere got pumpkin wasted. Really. Just go on Pinterest. People are pumpkin spicing everything. I should start a “Pumpkin-holics Anonymous” for bloggers. I’ll start. Hi, my name is Maria and I’m addicted to pumpkin spicing all the things.
The funny thing about cookies around here is that I rarely have the chance to take a picture of them before they’re devoured. Darn it. I can barely take pictures of the ingredients before someone starts bogarting the chocolate for themselves.
Can’t say I blame them. Cookies can be dangerously delicious. We had all the cookies disappear in two days. Not even joking. In fact, V devoured a handful of the pumpkin spice blossom cookies as the chocolate was cooling and left a trail of chocolate as evidence of her getting her pumpkin spice fix. Her face and hands were covered in chocolate and her eyes were glazed over. She had overdosed on pumpkin spice cookies and needed a nap, stat.
Are you in need of getting your pumpkin spice fix? Make these cookies, ASAP!
**This recipe got messed up in the blog transfer. Need to find the notebook with my recipes in it while in the midst of this moving chaos. Will update soon.**
*Tip* If your dough is too sticky, try adding a tablespoon of flour (or more if needed) to the dough.
If you find yourself in need of a pumpkin spice blossom cookie intervention, just invite me over for a latte and I’ll gladly take those goodies off your hands.
