It’s that time of year for resolutions and like many of you, I’m planning on making healthier choices in 2015. My goal is to eat less junk. The move took it’s toll and I’m starting to really feel the effects of eating poorly. I’ve made a fitness and food diary printable to help you (and me) document a week’s worth of healthy choices.
The printable has a place for you track three major meals and two snacks. I’ve included a way to track your water intake as well. I’ve always been guilty of not drinking enough water, even on the days I do cardio. Bad. So bad.
Each box represents a glass of water for me because measuring ounces doesn’t fit my lifestyle. If tracking ounces is important, each box can represent 8 oz, 16 oz or more depending on your needs.
Not sure how much water you should be drinking? This article from the Mayo Clinic has some general guidelines.
Nursing mothers can also use this printable to make sure that they’re taking in enough calories and water to maintain a healthy supply. I wish I made this printable when I was still nursing my kids. Grateful that my zombie mom days are behind me. Hang in there mommas, I feel your pain!
Although I dread the fact that my gym’s parking will be crazy and the childcare services will be a zoo, I’m super excited to see people making a change. Are you taking the first step towards making fitness a priority? They say it takes 21 days to make something a habit. Let’s make 2015 full of healthy (permanent) lifestyle changes!
