We made it! I’m still at little jet lagged, but thankfully the kids were on a normal schedule from day one. Maybe it had something to do with the sleep strike on the 11hr leg of our flight? Either way, I survived! We are somewhat settled into our new house, but that’s only if you consider sharing an air mattress with a three year old “settled”. Enough midnight jet lag rambling and onto the house tour!
** Apologies in advance. I’m writing this from my iPad and I’m having major technical issues. Sorry friends!**
Foyer (sort of)
There is a whole lot of yellowish/beige going on. It’s not quite this yellow in person (white balance problems), but I still don’t like it. The living and foyer area kind of blend together. The only difference between the spaces are the ceiling height. My favorite part of the house are the windows overlooking the backyard. The kids are loving up on the grass and freedom to roam safely since everything is gated and locked. Two years of city living, to bare feet in diapers. I love it.
Rooms, the loft and my future studio space tomorrow!
