Vow Renewal Recap- Our DIY Outdoor Reception

After our emotional ceremony, we went to have a few more photos taken and then we were off to our reception. There were so many elements that my sisters and I spent hours putting together for my DIY outdoor reception. They included flower arrangements, custom wine/water labels, the guestbook rolodex, and so many other small details. I’ll let the photos do the talking.

We thought it was so important that we kick the night off right and we entered the reception with the song “Sexy and I Know it” by LMFAO. We were decked out it tiaras, hats, and mustaches. It was so fun and yes… I did wear a mustache while doing the robot Smile

We spent the rest of the night eating, drinking, and dancing. There were a few tear filled toasts thrown in there too.

We did cupcakes and petit sweets for dessert after a lot of dancing. We inevitably smashed red velvet cake into each other’s faces and my dress came out miraculously unscathed.

Our vow renewal was perfect and when the night started coming to a close, we were both relieved and completely over joyed with the way everything turned out. A perfect day with perfect people helping us celebrate our marriage, we could not have wished for a more amazing day.
