Can you believe in the four years I’ve been with my husband, we’ve never bought an actual set of mugs? Ridiculous, huh? Especially since we both drink more than our fair share of coffee. Yours truly has been relying on it much more these past few days because of a certain temperamental toddler’s sleep habits. Hoping this phase of toddler sleep regression ends really soon. She’s also not napping, which means

Fresh Flowers
I absolutely love fresh flowers and when we lived in Seattle I had them in our apartment at all times. Hydrangeas, any type of bulb, and peonies are my favorite flowers for vases. I’ve never been a fan of roses unless they’re hybrids, the regular roses just don’t do it for me. My husband knows to not even bother with roses for anniversaries or Valentine’s Day. A cheap bouquet can
Blogger to WordPress
Hi there! Welcome to my new home here at WordPress. The transfer from Blogger to WordPress was fairly stress free due to the amazing talents of Tanya from Blogelina. She was able to transfer 99% my files intact (my project gallery links need to be altered to work) and the design was very similar to my previous one. I’m so grateful that my posts and pictures made it over and
Jumping Ship
Well, this week is the week I’ll be officially jumping ship to another blogging service. I’ll be posting this week, but I want to go ahead and apologize for any down time the blog might be experiencing in the next few days. My url will be the same, so you’ll still be able to find me at www.craftcrazymom.com. Can’t wait to see you over at my fancy new place! No
Caramelized Onion Quiche
Raise your hand if you’re a fan of eggs, caramelized onions and gorgonzola cheese. I love, love, LOVE all three. If you’re not a fan of strong stinky cheese, just substitute it with something milder. I highly recommend serving this over some fresh baby arugula with a light vinaigrette or a balsamic reduction. It’s amazing together. Trust me. Caramelized Onion Quiche – Makes one 9” pie. Ingredients:Pie crust (I used
Chopping It All Off
I did something really drastic today. I chopped off fifteen inches and donated it to Pantene’s Beautiful Lengths. They tweeted me earlier today and let me know that I was number 311,159 and that made me so happy that others have been donating their hair to cancer patients. I’ve been talking about chopping it off for months now, but sometimes you need a swift kick in the butt to instill a
Easy DIY Headband Holder
I’ve been trying to control the munchkin’s enormous collection of hair accessories. I started off with some drawer organization for the smaller items like clips, elastics and knit headbands, but her non-elastic headbands still didn’t have a permanent home. There are so many of them that I was having a hard time closing the bottom drawer. I originally tried to do this project with a roll of paper towels covered
Kung Pao Spaghetti
I’m always of a fan of super quick, simple, and veggie loaded meals. I’m not going to lie, P and I like to go to indulge in fast food Chinese and always seem to regret it minutes later. Thankfully this quick dinner fix is light on the waistline and loaded with veggies, not frying grease. I made a vegetarian version, but you could always add chicken, pork, or beef if
